I know how bad diet sodas are but is it that bad?
It doesn’t cause brain tumors. There have been some tests thought that show negative effects on your weight. Some people drink lots of diet soda because it has zero calories. It still spikes your blood sugar level and crashes later. This leads to increase eating with some people.
Some people advocate a diet similar to ones eaten by our ancestors with the thinking no chemicals will lead to no cancer. I think those people just never got the chance to get old enough to get cancer. (or they didn’t know what killed them)
the history on technology implies great benefits to scientific progress. how have some new technology especially the new media of the last 60 years overwhelmed our sense of control over technology into a process where media seems to be in control of us.
I, personally, feel no fear of control by the media. Instead, I perceive it as a medium or methodology for gathering and analyzing vast amounts of information and simplifying complexity.
We only feel that we are being controlled by being passive and accepting of that control.
I don’t know — maybe you do
But I believe I have seen chips pop (soda) and McDonald do more damage to peoples ability to think than "weed"
I know — I know the question would upset our corporate masters but — wouldn’t you like to see a study anyway ?
Which impairs thought more ? Fast food of weed ?

Find out for yourself which is worse. Rent two documentaries, Super Size Me, where the dude eats at McDonald’s every day for 30 days, and Super High Me, where the dude smokes pot every day for 30 days.
In the first video, after 30 days he’s gained a lot of weight and he’s started having liver problems among other things – and his sex drive has dropped.
In the second video, doctors could see no adverse health effects from daily pot smoking, and his sperm count actually increased.
I’ve had a terrible diet my entire life eating nothing but processed food and artificially sweetened drinks. I’ve been seriously ill because of it and suffered depression. I was told that changing to a healthy diet would help to rebalance the body and mind. I was curous as to how long it would take before i started to notice a difference in myself.
First, remember that this is merely an attempt and important step to helping you to a healthy state! Everyone’s body will react to different things. Therefore there simply can’t be a "time" that can tell you when you will feel the outcome.
In addition to changing your diet, I hope that you are also exercising. Exercising completly changes your mood too.
I honestly think you should start feeling better the first day you start because you have a lot to look forward to. When you make a goal and achieve it, that is incredibly rewarding. I had recently gained some weight and I didnt realize how it affected me. I finally took control, lost the weight, and now I am glad I dont have to buy new clothes that could fit my bigger size after all. Then I was even confident to wear a bathing suit again.
Now, in terms of medically speaking, I cant give any medical advice but I hope that if with these changes you dont feel a difference, you should seek medical advice from a physician.
I really hope everything goes well. I know how you feel and I am glad you are taking precautions! Take care and get well soon.
There are some feel good foods below. Hope it helps!
